OLUBUNMI OLUWAARE

Olubunmi Oluwadare's entrepreneurship journey started at the age of 17 when he founded his first enterprise,Bomex Joint, an evening restaurant in his hometown of Iyin-Ekiti, Ekiti State, South-West Nigeria. With nearly 23 years of expertise in various business sectors, he has gained invaluable insights and a midas touch that improves everything in his path. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Olubunmi has always been passionate about business development in Africa.

In 2015, he was appointed as the National Head of Nigeria by Africa's Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E), Africa's largest entrepreneurial advocacy organization. He held this position for six years before being promoted to Director of Strategy and Trade Relations Africa in 2021. During his tenure as the National Head of Africa's Young Entrepreneurs in Nigeria, Olubunmi demonstrated leadership excellence. His team initiated several impactful projects, including the world's first entrepreneurship reality TV program showcasing young Nigerian entrepreneurs to global investors, Mission One Million Entrepreneurs (M1ME) training program for thousands of young entrepreneurs across Africa, and the ongoing construction of the world's first Entrepreneurship Village in Akure, Ondo State. Olubunmi is also the author of the popular entrepreneurship development book titled "I See Money in Africa," A knowledge-based book pointing solutions to Africa's socio-economic challenges.

In addition, he co-owned and funded various businesses across different socio-economic sectors in Nigeria. As a Project management consultant with focus on entrepreneurial intervention for good governance, Olubunmi provides his expertise to African nations, government institutions, NGOs, private companies, and individuals across the Globe.

He has received numerous honorary honors and awards for his efforts to eradicate poverty, hunger, unemployment, and insecurity in Africa.

Furthermore, he has attended various developmental leadership courses and training both locally and abroad.

Olubunmi Oluwadare is happily married to Aderonke Oluwadare, CEO of House of Ronnybee event www.houseofronnybeeevents.com , and they are blessed with lovely children.
